Recently, the World Environmental Expo 2026 (WIETEC China) was held in Shanghai. Leveraging this important international platform for environmental industry exchange, the Jiangsu Environmental Industry Research Association and the Jiangsu Environmental Protection Industry Association organized a delegation of outstanding enterprises and innovative technologies from Jiangsu Province to participate in the exhibition. A dedicated “Jiangsu Environmental Industry Innovation Technology Pavilion” was established to showcase the region’s latest achievements in environmental technology innovation, green manufacturing, and industrial development, while actively connecting with environmental market opportunities along the Belt and Road Initiative.

On the morning of June 9, one of the exhibition’s key supporting events—the Jiangsu Environmental Industry New Technologies, New Products, and New Projects Launch Conference—was successfully held. Representatives from environmental industry associations in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Anhui, along with industry experts, business leaders, and media representatives, gathered to exchange insights and explore new pathways for the high-quality development of the environmental sector.
Centered on the theme of developing new quality productive forces, the conference highlighted innovative achievements across several key areas, including international environmental cooperation, residential water purification, digital environmental management, and industrial air pollution control. The event fully demonstrated Jiangsu’s strong technological foundation and innovation capabilities across multiple environmental protection sectors.
Advancing International Green Cooperation
A major highlight of the conference was the introduction of resources and opportunities from the Central Asia Green Industry Cooperation Platform. Capitalizing on the green development opportunities created by the Belt and Road Initiative, a national-level environmental technology industrial park project in Uzbekistan was officially introduced to participants. Supported by local free trade zone policies, the park is positioned as a strategic hub for environmental technology exports, overseas project implementation, and international expansion of green industries, promoting deeper collaboration between Chinese and international partners in low-carbon and sustainable development.

Innovative Water Solutions for Sustainable Living
The conference also featured a range of advanced environmental technologies designed to improve everyday life. Among them, next-generation household water recycling technologies attracted significant attention. These innovations introduce a new model for residential courtyard water management through closed-loop water circulation systems, enabling efficient reuse of household water resources. The technology supports the evolution of residential water treatment equipment toward smarter, more energy-efficient solutions while promoting sustainable and low-carbon lifestyles.

Digital Technologies for Smarter Environmental Governance
In the field of ecological and environmental supervision, advanced digital operation and maintenance systems were showcased. Integrated water environment monitoring and management platforms combine equipment control, maintenance scheduling, supervision, and performance evaluation into a unified digital framework. By standardizing operational processes, improving data accuracy, and enhancing regulatory transparency, these systems provide strong support for refined environmental management and science-based pollution control.

Breakthroughs in Industrial Odor and Air Pollution Control
Significant advancements were also presented in the area of industrial odor management and air pollution mitigation.New monitoring, source-tracing, and treatment technologies have been specifically developed to address complex industrial odor challenges. These innovations strengthen the overall air pollution control framework and improve the precision and effectiveness of industrial emission management, providing valuable technological support for continued air quality improvement efforts.

The “New Technologies, New Products, and New Projects” conference highlighted Jiangsu’s achievements in technological innovation, industrial collaboration, and international engagement. The introduction of overseas industrial platform resources created new pathways for innovative environmental technologies and products to enter global markets.
For many years, Jiangsu Province has remained committed to the principles of ecological priority and green development. Through participation in major industry exhibitions such as WieTec 2026, the province continues to strengthen collaboration across the Yangtze River Delta region, promote technology sharing and industry cooperation, and accelerate the commercialization of innovative environmental solutions.
Throughout the exhibition, the Jiangsu Environmental Industry Innovation Technology Pavilion attracted strong interest and active engagement from industry professionals and potential partners. Looking ahead, Jiangsu’s environmental industry will continue to drive industrial upgrading through technological innovation, deepen regional and international cooperation, and strengthen the foundation for sustainable industrial growth, contributing to high-quality ecological and environmental development worldwide.
